Construction Oversight

Envocare’s staff are experienced in landfill construction oversight and quality assurance. Envocare can perform inspections of liner systems, berms, drainage layers, leachate collection systems, gas extraction systems, and final cover systems. Envocare can also review and verify the results of permeability tests, compaction tests, and geotechnical tests. Envocare can assist in the installation and development of perimeter monitoring wells, leachate sampling points, and gas monitoring probes.

Leachate Investigation

Envocare can conduct leachate sampling and analysis for regulated and unregulated landfills, using approved methods and protocols. Envocare can evaluate the leachate quality and quantity, and identify the potential sources and pathways of leachate migration. Envocare can also design and implement leachate management and treatment systems, such as recirculation, evaporation, or bioremediation.

Drone Services

Envocare can provide drone services for landfill projects, using advanced unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and software. Envocare can use drones to monitor the change in slope and volume of the landfill, and to detect any signs of erosion, settlement, or instability. Envocare can also use drones to capture high-resolution images and videos of the landfill site, and to generate topographic maps and 3D models.

Soil and Groundwater Remediation

Envocare has conducted soil and groundwater investigation and remediation around unregulated landfill sites located in Hamilton, Bound Brook, and Sayreville. Envocare can perform site characterization, risk assessment, feasibility study, and remedial action plan for contaminated sites. Envocare can also implement various remediation technologies, such as soil vapor extraction, air sparging, biostimulation, chemical oxidation, or thermal treatment.
