Monitoring Turbidity At Dredging Sites

ENVOCARE is introducing open water-sediment monitoring services. Acoustic Doppler and YSI meters are used to determine and calculate the water flow and sediment passing through the virtual fence area.
ENVOCARE will prepare a turbidity monitoring work plan to meet the project requirements. ENVOCARE is capable of deploying instruments in the open water channel or rivers to monitor the sediment movement from the underwater activities. Typically, continuous monitoring is required.

ENVOCARE recommends establishing background turbidity prior to the start of the activities. The tidal influence area requires additional planning and development of a work plan and approval from the Army Core Engineers.

ENVOCARE utilizes wifi which enables data loggers to monitor real-time turbidity and water velocity. Please contact ENVOCARE for any open water turbidity monitoring needs.
